Delaware State troopers, Wilmington police and New Castle County police collected a variety of firearms including assault weapons, handguns, shotguns, and rifles at two locations.December 17, 2011

- New Delaware Senior Legal Hotline Will Help Older Delawareans Get Free Advice and Ensure Their RightsAdvice will be provided by either a Delaware Volunteer Legal Services staff attorney or volunteer attorneys. If the issue requires more than advice, the caller will be screened for free legal services and, if eligible, will be referred to Community Legal Aid Society (CLASI), Delaware Volunteer Legal Services (DVLS) or the Legal Services Corporation of Delaware (LSCD). - DNREC, Clean Air Council and DuPont Announce Air Quality Investments in New CastleNeighbors of Trinity Distribution Services in New Castle are benefitting from an environmentally-friendly project that improves air quality and the quality of life for residents in neighborhoods adjacent to the facility. Twenty diesel generators used to power refrigerated storage containers at the company’s Roger Road site have been replaced with electrified outlets, significantly reducing air pollutants, diesel fumes and noise in the community.December 9, 2011
