The Delaware Division of the Arts Mezzanine Gallery is pleased to present an exhibition of work by Yaprak Soysal during the month of May. My Human and I will be on view from May 6 – 27 with an opening reception on Friday, May 6 from 5 – 7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public and Ms. Soysal will be in attendance to discuss her work
Ms. Soysal attributes her interest in street and documentary photography to her fascination with life, people, and stories. Her photographs in My Human and I document dogs with people in a variety of situations from affectionate moments with owners to action shots of dogs working with police trainers. Ms. Soysal earned an Honorable Mention from the Delaware Division of the Arts for the Individual Artist Fellowship program in 2015.
The Mezzanine Gallery is located in the Carvel State Office Building, 820 N. French Street, Wilmington, DE 19801 and open Monday-Friday from 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
