EVENT RESCHEDULED–“The First People of the First State: A Lenape Celebration of Heritage” program on the Dover Green to take place on Sept. 24, 2016

Program rescheduled from Saturday, Sept. 3, 2016 to Saturday, Sept. 24, 2016.




Free admission beginning Aug. 31, 2016 for “Lost off Lewes: The British warship DeBraak”

Tours explore the surviving hull section of an 18th-century shipwreck.




Evening of storytelling and dancing set for Aug. 31 at White Clay Creek State Park

White Clay Creek State Park invites the public to a very special extension of the free Wednesday Night Concert series. Starting at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 31, visitors will enjoy songs and interactive storytelling followed by interactive dancing at the park’s Carpenter Recreation Area, 880 New London Road, in Newark, Delaware.
