Carper and Coons and Representative John Carney (all D-Del.) and Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control Secretary Collin O’Mara announced that as much as $30 million in federal funding has been secured to rebuild Delaware beaches to protect homes, businesses and roads against future storm damage.

The Delaware State Police and Delaware.gov in conjunction with Delaware Interactive, LLC have just launched a new mobile Tip Line application on both Android and iOS platforms. The new Mobile Tip Line provides an additional, convenient, method where anyone can submit a crime tip straight from their mobile device.




Governor, Delaware Leaders Welcome Allen Harim’s Decision to Purchase Former Pinnacle (Vlasic) Pickle Plant for Poultry Operations

Governor Jack Markell, Secretary of Agriculture Ed Kee, Delaware Economic Development Office Director Alan Levin and U.S. Sen. Tom Carper issued the following statements today regarding the announcement by Harim that it intends to purchase the former Pinnacle Foods plant in Millsboro, invest $100 million and employ an estimated 700 people in a poultry processing, cut-up and cooking operation.
