HARRINGTON – The Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) invites visitors to the 2012 Delaware State Fair in Harrington to come by the DEMA booth and pick up important emergency preparedness information.
Delaware is about to enter the historically peak time of the annual hurricane season (June 1 – November 1), and visitors to the Fair will be able to get important information on how to protect themselves, their families, and their property during any type of emergency. The materials available include tips on what to have on hand in the home before an emergency occurs. An activities book for children will also be available.
The DEMA booth is located in the Delaware Building, which is near the grandstand. The booth will be staffed from 12 noon to 8:00 PM each day of the State Fair (July 19 – 28).
