Cassie Lawn Walker will present an exhibition titled Menagerie of Oddities in the Delaware Division of the Arts Mezzanine Gallery from August 3-31, 2012. The Gallery, open weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., is located in the Carvel State Office Building, 820 N. French Street, Wilmington. There will be a reception to meet the artist on Friday, August 3 from 5-8 p.m. as part of Wilmington’s Art Loop.
This solo exhibition of Cassie Lawn Walker’s work will showcase illustrative paintings which explore her love of collecting vintage toys, along with her influences from the growing underground scene of Pop Surrealism and Urban Street Art.
Cassie Lawn Walker is a painter based in Milford, DE. Since graduating from the Art Institute of Philadelphia, Lawn Walker has traveled the world with design jobs and has exhibited her work locally and throughout the region.
