“THE DEPARTMENT OF ELECTIONS FOR NEW CASTLE COUNTY IS CANCELLING ELECTION OFFICER TRAINING CLASSES FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY,” ACCORDING TO MR. ANTHONY ALBENCE, THE DEPARTMENT’S DIRECTOR.
“The Department is concerned for the safety of our workers who have volunteered to serve on November 6. We plan to resume classes on Wednesday at 9 am and are adding classes on Saturday, November 3 at 4 p.m. and Sunday, November 4 at 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. We know our workers will make every effort to rearrange their schedules to attend one of the remaining classes. There will be an updated class schedule on our webpage at http://electionsncc.delaware.gov shortly,” he said.
