Tree Farmer of the Year Award
The Delaware Forestry Association presented its 2013 Tree Farmer of the Year Award to Bessie Shockley of Frankford at its recent annual meeting held in Bridgeville.

Shockley was honored for her commitment to outstanding stewardship of her 49-acre Tree Farm for over 25 years, as well as her commitment to preserve her forestland in the midst of increasing development.
