Governor’s Weekly Message: Growing Delaware’s Economy by Supporting Local Farmers

New Castle – As a guest host for the Governor’s weekly message, filmed near Buena Vista Conference Center, Department of Agriculture Secretary Ed Kee explains how Delaware’s agriculture industry impacts the state’s overall economy.

“Our thriving agriculture industry creates a staggering economic impact of eight billion dollars and 30,000 jobs,” said Secretary Kee. “Governor Markell and I remain firmly committed to the partnerships and programs that give [our farmers] every opportunity to succeed. By working together to help our growers and consumers, we will all help keep Delaware moving forward.”
