Governor’s Weekly Message: Building Our Future Workforce by Supporting Students Today


Newark – In his weekly message, filmed at Newark High School, Governor Markell shares efforts underway in Delaware to prepare students for college and a career, including a recent partnership with the College Board and the launch of College Application Month.

“While college isn’t the right path for every student, we must ensure that those who would benefit from post-secondary education and training have access,” said Governor Markell. “We’ll give them the chance to make the most of their talents, we’ll build the future workforce to grow our economy, and we’ll keep Delaware moving forward.”
