Governor Jack Markell joined Bipartisan Policy Center’s (BPC) Governors’ Council, the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and the Hunt Institute to launch an effort supporting the goals of the Common Core State Standards.




Noramco Foreign Trade Zone approval granted

Noramco Inc. has become the first company in the state to include their facility in Delaware’s Foreign-Trade Zone under the Alternative Site Framework (ASF) and to be granted “Production Authority” by the Foreign Trade Zone Board of the U.S. Department of Commerce.




There will be school board elections in 4 New Castle County school districts on May 13th.
