Farewell To Sybil Baker

Lacie Jo Spence

After nine years, Sybil Baker resigned as our administrative coordinator at GACEC and moved with her husband, who accepted a position as a surgical tech in Texas. We will miss Sybil dearly and appreciated her hard work and dedication to the Council and individuals with disabilities throughout the state. GACEC wishes her and her husband well on their new adventure.

We now welcome Lacie Jo Spence, who is stepping into the administrative coordinator position. Lacie has an associates degree from Delaware Technical Community College in Dental Hygiene and conducted her table clinic on treating patients with Autism.

She worked in private practice for fifteen years and served people from diverse backgrounds, including individuals with disabilities. During that period, she expanded her knowledge of the challenges people with disabilities face in dental and healthcare treatment. She has been a volunteer with GACEC since 1998.
