Governor Meyer’s Office Announces Fall Internship Program

WILMINGTON— Today, Governor Matt Meyer announced that his office is now accepting applications for its Fall internship program.

Over eight weeks, interns will assist the Office of the Governor staff by serving Delaware residents and gaining knowledge about state government. Potential projects and responsibilities include drafting proclamations, tributes, and event memos; answering constituent calls; and attending events such as a cabinet speaker series and confirmation hearings.

“Fostering the next generation of state leaders is integral to our administration’s priorities, and that’s why I’m excited to launch our office’s Fall internship program,” said Governor Matt Meyer. “This is a chance for students and recent graduates to develop professional skills and see firsthand how state government works, and I encourage all of those eligible to apply.”

Rising college undergraduate students, as well as recent 2025 graduates, are invited to apply. Applicants should contact their universities to receive credit for the internship. Please submit a resume, a writing sample, and 3 references to GovInternships@delaware.gov by 5 pm on Friday, September 5th.
