The Delaware Office of the State Fire Marshal is investigating a residential structure fire that was reported at approximately 04:55 A.M. in the 10000 block of West Avenue Ocean View, Delaware.
The Millville Fire Department and assisting mutual aid fire companies arrived on scene and found a single-story residential structure with fire showing from the front and side windows. The structure was occupied and operating at the time of the fire. All occupants were able to escape prior to the arrival of the Fire Department, and 3 occupants were transported to area medical facilities for evaluation.
Delaware Deputy State Fire Marshals responded to the scene and conducted an origin and cause investigation. The fire is still under investigation. Damage is estimated at $150,000.
