The Governor’s Advisory Council for Exceptional Citizens (GACEC) and the Dover YMCA invite Delaware residents to a free Resource Fair in celebration of Disability History & Awareness Month. The event takes place on Thursday, October 1, 2026, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Dover YMCA at 1137 S. State Street.
The fair features inclusive activities such as Zumba, healthy cooking, chair yoga, and chair exercise. Community organizations will be on-site to share resources and connect with attendees.
Everyone is welcome. The Resource Fair celebrates the contributions of people with disabilities and encourages community involvement in inclusion efforts across Delaware. Admission is free, and visitors can enjoy a day of learning, wellness, and connection.
