Tidal Finfish Advisory Council to meet Jan. 17 in Dover

DOVER – Delaware’s Advisory Council on Tidal Finfisheries will meet at 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, in the DNREC Auditorium, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901.

The Council will discuss changes to finfish regulations, recent actions affecting Delaware fisheries taken by the Mid-Atlantic Fishery Management Council and the Atlantic States Marine Fisheries Commission, and other finfish topics.

Recycling Public Advisory Council to meet Wednesday, Nov. 15 in Lewes

DOVER – Delaware’s Recycling Public Advisory Council (RPAC) will meet at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15 at the DNREC Field Office, at 901 Pilottown Road, in Lewes. The RPAC meeting agenda can be found on the Delaware Public Meeting Calendar.

The Recycling Public Advisory Council was enacted into law by Senate Bill 234 in May, 2010, and charged with advising the Governor’s Office, the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control, and the Delaware Solid Waste Authority on all aspects of recycling, including: development of grant criteria and selection of applications; a methodology for measuring recycling rates; and possible outreach activities designed to achieve higher recycling rates.
