DNREC, Center for Inland Bays to Partner on ‘Water Family Fest’ and Native Plant Sale Saturday, May 4

DNREC and the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays (CIB) are partnering again to host Water Family Fest and Native Plant Sale at James Farm Ecological Preserve from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., Saturday, May 4. James Farm is located at 30048 Cedar Neck Road, Ocean View, Del. Since 2019, Water Family Fest highlights the work done by DNREC’s Division of Watershed Stewardship and CIB toward benefiting Delaware’s natural resources and environment – including managing and monitoring wetlands, improving water quality, and overseeing, protecting and enhancing recreational shorelines.

The Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control and the Center for the Inland Bays (CIB) are again partnering to host Water Family Fest and Annual Native Plant Sale.




Be Part of the Solution to Pollution in the Inland Bays Aug. 28 Boat Captains Needed to Volunteer

Volunteers with boats are needed to help the Delaware Center for the Inland Bays to remove debris from the Bays during the Annual Inland Bays Clean Up from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28.




Conservation Project Cleans Indian River and Expands Wildlife Area

The Center for the Inland Bays has partnered with DNREC to permanently protect and restore 52 acres of highly-valuable forests and wetlands.
