Child Predator Task Force arrests Laurel man on child pornography charges

Wilmington – A Delaware Child Predator Task Force investigation into the online distribution of child pornography has led to the arrest of a Laurel man, Attorney General Beau Biden announced today.

“Thanks to the specially-trained staff of our Child Predator Task Force and our close cooperation with New Jersey law enforcement, we acted quickly to identify an individual who had access to children, build the necessary evidence to make an arrest, and take this individual off the streets,” Biden said.

The Task Force investigation was initiated after receiving a report from the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice, which uncovered evidence linking the online distribution of child pornography between a New Jersey subject and a subject in Delaware who was identified as 40 year-old Douglas A. Little of Laurel.  As a result of the Delaware investigation, on September 5 detectives took Little into custody as he was leaving for work and a search warrant was executed by Task Force detectives and a uniformed trooper from DSP Troop #5 at Little’s residence in the 100 block of Carvel Avenue in Laurel.  During the search, multiple computers, a cell phone and numerous digital storage devices were seized.  An initial forensic examination of the seized evidence recovered multiple files of child pornography.

As a result of the investigation, Little was arrested on September 5 and charged with 25 counts of dealing in child pornography.  He was arraigned via videophone by JP Court #2 and was taken to Sussex Correctional Institution in lieu of $500,000 cash bail.

Kent County man charged with dealing in child pornography

Dover – A Delaware Child Predator Task Force investigation into the online distribution of child pornography has resulted in the arrest of a Kenton man, Attorney General Beau Biden announced today.

“Child predators use technology to target children in every corner of our state and beyond,” Biden said.  “We’ll continue to act to keep our kids safe.”

An online undercover investigation by Task Force detectives identified a subject who had been using the Internet to sexually solicit minors.  Investigators identified that person of interest as 63 year-old Paul Nonne of Kenton, Delaware.  On August 29, a search warrant at Nonne’s residence on Whitetail Run in Kenton was executed by members of the Child Predator Task Force.  During the search multiple computers and other digital media were seized and an initial forensic examination of the seized evidence recovered multiple images of child pornography.

Based on the ongoing investigation, detectives obtained another search warrant for Nonne’s work space at his place of employment, Ashland, Inc., located on Hercules Road, Wilmington.  That search warrant was executed on August 29 with the assistance of Ashland officials and recovered evidence including multiple USB thumb drive memory devices.  A forensic examination of the evidence revealed numerous images of child pornography.

As a result of the investigation, Nonne was arrested on August 29 and charged with 12 counts of dealing in child pornography.  He was arraigned via videophone by JP Court #2 and was taken to James T. Vaughn Correctional Center in lieu of $600,000 secured bail.

Wilmington-area man charged with dealing in child pornography

Wilmington – A Delaware Child Predator Task Force investigation into the online distribution of child pornography has led to the arrest this week of a Wilmington-area man, Attorney General Beau Biden announced today.

“We’re using all the tools at our disposal to protect kids by identifying predators and taking them off the streets,” Biden said.

An online undercover investigation initiated by Task Force detectives led to the receipt of multiple files of child pornography from an individual.  Subsequent investigation led to a residence in the 100 block of Lorewood Avenue in Elsmere and to a person of interest, 38-year old Shaun A. Parks, a resident of the address.  Detectives learned that Parks would be reporting to his probation officer on Tuesday, August 27 and, upon his arrival, detectives made contact with Parks and he was taken to DSP Troop #6 for further investigation.  Parks was on pre-trial supervision from an April 12, 2013 arrest for Aggravated Menacing and a weapons charge.

On August 27, a search warrant for the Lorewood Avenue location was executed by members of the Child Predator Task Force.  During the search multiple computers and other digital media were seized and an initial forensic examination of the seized evidence recovered multiple videos of child pornography.

As a result of the investigation, Parks was arrested on August 27 and charged with 10 counts of dealing in child pornography.  He was arraigned via videophone by JP Court #2 and was ordered held in lieu of $200,000 secured bail.
