Dover, DE – The Delaware Senate today confirmed the nomination of Judge Jan Jurden to serve as President Judge of the Delaware Superior Court, replacing Justice James Vaughn Jr., who was sworn in as a member of the state’s Supreme Court on October 29. Dover, DE – The Delaware Senate today unanimously confirmed the nomination of James Collins to serve as Chief Information Officer of the Department of Technology and Information (DTI), replacing Jim Sills, who recently assumed the role of president and chief executive officer of Mechanics and Farmers Bank after serving as DTI CIO since 2009. Dover, DE – The Delaware Senate today unanimously confirmed the nomination of Judge James T. Vaughn, Jr. to serve as a Justice on the Delaware Supreme Court, replacing Justice Carolyn Berger, who retired on September 1. The Governor issued this statement following the confirmation:

The Delaware Senate today confirmed the nomination of Chancellor Leo E. Strine, Jr. to serve as the eighth Chief Justice of Delaware’s Supreme Court. The Governor issued this statement following the confirmation:
