DNREC hosts video premiere of ‘Delaware Bayshore Forever’ at the State Fair

Governor Carney, DNREC Secretary Garvin, and conservation partners and guests attended the premiere of “Delaware Bayshore Forever,” a new video tour of the Delaware Bayshore, at the Delaware State Fair.




Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police blotter: Aug. 22-28

Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police officers made 2,263 contacts with anglers, boaters and the general public, including 419 vessel boardings for boating safety and fishing regulation compliance checks, between Aug. 22 and 28.

A full complement of 20 students concluded their week-long training at the Division of Fish & Wildlife Natural Resources Police’s inaugural Youth Academy with a recognition ceremony held at and hosted by Cabela’s at the Christiana Mall.




Federal and state officials, conservation partners celebrate two $1M grants benefitting Delaware’s Bayshore and beyond

Among the lush fields and tidal marshland of Delaware’s Bayshore east of Dover, Delaware officials and conservation partners were joined by U.S. Fish and Wildlife Deputy Director Steve Guertin to celebrate the purchase, protection and conservation of the Vance Morris Tract – nearly 750 acres of key coastal Bayshore lands bordering the Ted Harvey Conservation Area.
