DNREC Division of Watershed Stewardship Reclaim Our River program’s third-annual Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta set for Saturday, Aug. 6 on the Nanticoke

BLADES, Del. – The third annual Recycled Cardboard Boat Regatta – presented by the Delaware Nature Society’s Abbott’s Mill Nature Center, in conjunction with DNREC’s Division of Watershed Stewardship’s Reclaim Our River Program, the Town of Blades and the Nanticoke River Sail & Power Squadron – will cast off Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Nanticoke River Public Marine Park, 26 N. Market Street, Blades, DE 19973.




DNREC’s DuPont Nature Center to hold Family Fish-n-Fun Day Aug. 6

The DuPont Nature Center at Mispillion Harbor Reserve, a DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife facility, will hold its Family Fish-n-Fun Day from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 6 at the Slaughter Beach Pavilion, in Milford.




Delaware State Parks accepting applications for the 2016/2017 Veterans Conservation Corps

DNREC’s Division of Parks and Recreation has announced that applications are now being accepted for the 2016/2017 Veterans Conservation Corps – an AmeriCorps National Service program.
