Part of Castle Trail on C&D Canal Conservation Area to close for additional repairs July 9

ST. GEORGES – DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife announced today that a portion of the Mike Castle Trail west of the Lums Pond trailhead on the C&D Canal Conservation Area will be temporarily closed beginning Monday, July 9 for additional repairs.

Repairs are necessary due to a crushed culvert and damaged pavement on the trail. Weather permitting, construction is expected to be complete, with the trail reopened, by the end of the week.
