2022-23 School Year Free and Reduced-Price Meal Policy Announced

The Delaware Department of Education announces the U.S. Department of Agriculture policy for free and reduced-price meals for children unable to pay the full price for meals served under the National School Lunch Program (NSLP), School Breakfast Program (SBP), and After School Snack Program (ASSP). Each participating school and its administrative office have a copy of the policy, which may be reviewed by any interested party.

DIAA Statement on DFOA Officials

DIAA is committed to working collaboratively with all DIAA approved officials’ associations, in addition to DAAD and DIOC, when considering all future requests concerning officials’ fees. The opportunity to participate in interscholastic athletics is vital to the social, emotional, and physical wellbeing of student athletes. A work stoppage by DFOA would hinder such an opportunity and would not be in the best interest of Delaware’s student athletes.




DPH Announces Partnerships To Expand Access To The Monkeypox Vaccine For Eligible Persons

The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) is announcing additional locations where those who meet eligibility criteria can get the monkeypox (MPX) vaccine. On Monday, DPH expanded access to the vaccine to those living with HIV and those receiving HIV pre-exposure prophylaxis (PrEP).




DPH Announces Five New Monkeypox Cases And Expanded Access To Vaccine

The Delaware Division of Public Health (DPH) is announcing five additional cases of monkeypox (MPX), bringing the state’s total to 11. All cases are considered probable pending confirmatory testing by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).
