State of Delaware Announces 10 a.m. Opening for Kent and Sussex Counties on February 24, 2026
State of Delaware offices in Kent and Sussex Counties will open at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, February 24, 2026, due to severe weather conditions. Non-essential employees who live or work in those counties should not report until that time. Offices in New Castle County will operate on a regular schedule, and all driving restrictions have been lifted statewide effective at 8 a.m.
