Lt. Governor Denn Visits Delaware Military Academy on Friday, April 20th

His first visit will be a visit to Delaware Military Academy (DMA) in Wilmington. Lt. Governor Denn will then recognize and thank those who have given at least 10 years of their time to volunteer at Christiana Care to end their “Week of Volunteerism.”

The 2012 winners of the award are Bayard Middle School and Gallaher Elementary School, both of Christina School District. The two winners were picked by a committee of parents, teachers, administrators, and representatives from the business community.

The Excellence in Parental Involvement award was created by Lt. Governor Denn as a way to honor schools and parents that have successfully expanded parental involvement through innovative programs.
