Claymont man charged with dealing in child pornography

Wilmington – A Delaware Child Predator Task Force investigation into the online distribution of child pornography has led to the arrest of a Claymont man, Attorney General Beau Biden announced today.

“Every week our Child Predator Task Force identifies and locates Delaware predators who are members of online networks that distribute graphic images and videos depicting the violent sexual exploitation of children,” Biden said.  “This illegal activity revictimizes kids all over again and it feeds the deviant and criminal behavior we’re working hard to combat.”

The investigation led detectives to link the online distribution of child pornography images to a residence in the 100 block of East Shelley Drive in Claymont.  A search warrant for that location was executed yesterday, June 12 by members of the Child Predator Task Force and a uniformed Trooper from Delaware State Police Troop 1.  During the search multiple computers and other digital media were seized, and a person of interest, 56 year-old Tommy J. Brough, a resident of the address, was identified and taken to Troop #1 for further investigation.  During a forensic examination of the seized evidence detective recovered multiple images of child pornography.

As a result of the investigation, Brough was arrested and charged with 20 counts of dealing in child pornography.  He was arraigned via videophone by JP Court #2 and was released on $400,000 unsecured bail.
