State Auditor, R. Thomas Wagner, Jr., has released the Statewide Unit Count Agreed-Upon Procedures Report for Kuumba Academy Charter School, School Year 2016 – 2017.

The Office of Auditor of Accounts (AOA) performed procedures to determine whether Kuumba Academy Charter School properly included selected students in the September 30th Unit Count. The exceptions noted in our report resulted from the school failing to properly maintain the Unit Count File and not maintaining the maximum 22 students per instructor ratio.

The engagement was performed by AOA in accordance with Government Auditing Standards, issued by the Comptroller General of the United States.
