Students from across the state gathered Saturday at the Delaware Public Archives to celebrate the winners of the 17th Annual Delaware Day Fourth Grade Competition and to be recognized for their knowledge of the First State’s influential role in crafting the United States Constitution.




New Regulations Mandate Enhanced Screening of Business Entities Formed in Delaware

Regulations promulgated by the Secretary of State and slated to take effect Jan. 1 will require that new business entities formed in Delaware be screened against lists of persons and groups that have been prohibited from doing business in the United States.

Reminder for residents of New Castle County that preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps for portions of New Castle County released in December 2016 and revised in May 2018 by the Federal Emergency Management Agency will begin a 90-day regulatory appeal period Friday, Dec. 14 through Wednesday, March 13, 2019.
