Follow @mattmeyerde for updates; Will be Ninth Social Media Account

LEWES — The Office of Governor Matt Meyer today announced the launch of its official TikTok account. Delawareans can find the account and keep up with all of the Governor’s content by searching for @mattmeyerde. This will be Governor Meyer’s ninth account on a social media platform, joining his accounts on X, Bluesky, Threads, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn, and Substack.

“TikTok will allow us to showcase the daily work of the Meyer Administration to deliver for Delawareans, connect with the young and young at heart, and bring a creative edge to explaining the governor’s views on the biggest issues facing our state and country,” said Director of Communications Mila Myles. “Be sure to follow @mattmeyerde for hot takes, policy positions, and probably too many dad jokes.”

TikTok is a popular social media platform that allows users to film and share short-form video content with others. Transparency is a core value of the Meyer Administration, and we’re committed to using social media to communicate clearly, concisely, and creatively with Delawareans.

The TikTok account will not be used on any State of Delaware devices.
