DNREC Adopts Emergency Deer Hunting Regulations to Try to Limit Spread of CWD

With the 2026-27 deer season starting Sept. 1, DNREC has adopted emergency hunting regulations to try to limit the spread of Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in Delaware and confine CWD to the area where it was found last spring.
