Seaford Man Arrested on Child Pornography Charges

Seaford – Attorney General Beau Biden announced today that a Delaware Child Predator Task Force undercover investigation has led to the arrest of a Seaford resident for distributing child pornography over the internet.  Wayne E. Krumm, age 41, of the 25000 block of S. Parkway Road, was charged last week with 7 counts of Dealing in Child Pornography and is being held in default of $175,000 secured bail.

“Thanks to the proactive efforts of the Delaware Child Predator Task

Force we’re helping keep kids safe from predators who would harm them,” said Attorney General Biden.

Following an undercover investigation into the online distribution of child pornography, a search warrant for the S. Parkway Road residence was obtained and executed by the Child Predator Task Force on September 27.  Detectives seized a laptop computer and other digital evidence, and an initial forensic preview revealed multiple videos of child pornography.  Krumm, an occupant of the residence, was detained by police and taken to Delaware State Police Troop 5 for questioning.  Based on the evidence secured during the investigation, Krumm was arrested and charged with 7 counts of dealing in child pornography. He was arraigned via videophone at J.P. Court #2 and was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution in default of $175,000 secured bail,

The Delaware Department of Justice reminds the public that a charge is merely an allegation and is not evidence of guilt. Defendants are presumed innocent and are entitled to a jury trial at which the State bears the burden of proving each charge beyond a reasonable doubt.
