Absentee ballots are available for School Board and referenda elections

Absentee ballots are available for School Board and referenda elections being held in New Castle County. People can get absentee affidavits by mail by submitting an affidavit. Affidavits for the elections are at http://de.gov/schaff13. Folks can also vote in person at the Department’s office.

Governor Markell helped the University of Delaware and NRG Energy celebrate an important milestone for its eV2g project: becoming an official resource of PJM Interconnection and proving for the first time that electric vehicle-to-grid technology can sell electricity from electric vehicles (EVs) to the power grid.

To achieve public compliance through education and enforcement actions that help conserve Delaware’s fish and wildlife resources and ensure safe boating and public safety, DNREC Division of Fish & Wildlife Enforcement agents between April 16-23 made 597 contacts with hunters, anglers and boaters, and other members of the public, including 57 boardings for boating safety/fishing regulation compliance checks. Agents responded to 33 complaints and issued 22 citations for violations of fish, game, traffic and criminal regulations.
