DNREC will hold a series of public workshops this month across the state to provide guidance and help facilitate grant applications from Delaware’s schools, businesses and institutions who want to apply for $1 million available this year in recycling grants and low-interest loans.

Recent wet weather has not deterred beachnesting birds from beginning their nesting season at Cape Henlopen State Park – with this year’s first piping plover nest found late last week on the Point, along with an American oystercatcher nest.
