Dover, DE (January 23, 2018) – Delaware Insurance Commissioner Trinidad Navarro is pleased to announce that the Delaware Department of Insurance has been approved by the Department of Veterans Affairs for reimbursement of licensing test fees. Veterans that successfully pass the exams for Insurance Producer and Adjuster licenses will now be reimbursed those fees.
“This is an exciting announcement for the Department of Insurance. My team in Producer Licensing has worked for many months on meeting the requirements by Veterans Affairs. All producers and licensees have to take the same test and pay the same fees. This is a valued benefit to for our veterans who are returning to the civilian workforce.” Commissioner Navarro said.
As part of the GI Bill, the approved license and certification tests include:
“Veterans will now see a reimbursement of test fees when they pass the exams. For some veterans, this can be several hundred dollars depending on how many tests they need to take to become certified.” The Commissioner added.
