WILMINGTON, Del.Governor John Carney on Friday issued the following statement on his nomination of Claire DeMatteis to serve on the University of Delaware Board of Trustees:

I look forward to the Delaware Senate considering Claire’s nomination.”

The Delaware Senate must confirm Governor Carney’s nomination. DeMatteis would replace Trustee Stuart Grant, who requested that his name be withdrawn for reappointment.
