Flags To Be Lowered For Passing Of U.S. Capitol Police Officers

Delaware Flag Status - half staff

This afternoon President Trump ordered flags at all U.S. government buildings and facilities to be flown at half-staff until sunset on January 13, 2021 as a sign of respect for the service and sacrifice of United States Capitol Police Officers Brian D. Sicknick and Howard Liebengood, and all Capitol Police Officers and law enforcement across this great nation.

In concurrence with the President’s order, Governor Carney has ordered both the U.S. and Delaware flags at state buildings and facilities be flown at half-staff until sunset on January 13, 2021. Flags are to be returned to full staff at that time.
