School Safety is the Focus of Statewide Tabletop Exercise Series

In conjunction with The Delaware Department of Education (DDOE), the Delaware Emergency Management Agency’s Delaware School Safety Center (DEMA DSSC) successfully hosted a three-day series of tabletop exercises across the state from April 20 through April 22, 2026. The recent exercises integrated multiple layers of school safety planning, including anonymous reporting systems, behavioral threat assessment processes, crisis communication protocols, emergency plans, and coordinated institutional responses to emergency situations.
