Dover Woman Charged in Unlicensed Wine Operation

The Delaware Division of Alcohol & Tobacco Enforcement (DATE) has arrested Margaret Munro, 60, of Dover on charges stemming from an unlicensed wine manufacturing operation conducted through Pale Moon Wine LLC.

The investigation began after the Maryland Alcohol, Tobacco, and Cannabis Commission notified DATE that products from Pale Moon Wine LLC were being sold at establishments in Maryland. Investigators determined the products originated in Delaware and that the firm lacked the required licenses to manufacture or sell alcoholic beverages.




DNREC Asks Public to Report Sightings of Wild Turkeys During Annual Survey

DNREC is counting on Delawareans to help with the state’s annual productivity survey for wild turkeys July 1 through Aug. 31. Volunteers assist the DNREC Division of Fish and Wildlife by recording and reporting information on the continuing distribution and reproductive success of the state’s turkey population.
