The Delaware Council of Faith Based Partnerships (DCFBP) will host a half-day workshop on Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at the Delaware Emergency Management Agency (DEMA) offices in Smyrna.
Governor Markell announced the nomination of Karen L. Valihura, a widely respected corporate law practitioner, to serve on the Delaware Supreme Court. If confirmed by the Delaware Senate, Valihura will fill the vacancy left by Justice Jack B. Jacobs, who retires on June 24th.

From May 12th to 26th, officers from 36 State, County, and municipal law enforcement agencies issued a total of 1,035 citations to unbuckled motorists during the annual Click It or Ticket campaign. The enforcement portion of the campaign involved traffic safety checkpoints and saturation patrols both day and night.
