Museums of the state of Delaware closed on April 5, 2015. The John Dickinson Plantation, New Castle Court House and Zwaanendael Museum will also be closed on April 3, 2015.




Delaware Division of Historical and Cultural Affairs to sponsor 13 free programs at downtown Dover sites during April 2015

Highlights include four programs presented as part of the History Coffee-Hour Series.




Governor’s Weekly Message: Strengthening Educational Opportunities for Delaware Students

Governor Markell explains the importance of identifying unmet student needs and developing a comprehensive plan that addresses all schools in Delaware. “Amazing schools and programs across the state are offering diverse and innovative opportunities to meet individual needs, whether it’s the science and math focus at Conrad Schools of Science, the college prep courses at Mount Pleasant, the
programs to serve high-need students at EastSide Charter, or the robust career and technical training at Vo Tech schools in each county,” said Governor Markell.
