DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation’s Delaware Seashore State Park to host 38th annual Sandcastle Contest July 14
For nearly 40 years, Delaware Seashore State Park has hosted an annual Sandcastle Contest, and it has become one of the park’s major events. At 9:30 a.m. Saturday, July 14, some 30 teams – totaling around 100 visitors from in and out of state – are expected to participate.
DNREC’s Division of Watershed Stewardship invites the public to vote on finalists in the first Delaware Watersheds Photo Contest by visiting www.delawarewatersheds.org.
DNREC seeks Delaware students who make a difference in the environment for 2018 Young Environmentalist Awards
DNREC encourages teachers, classmates, parents, club or group leaders, and others to nominate students for the 2018 Young Environmentalist of the Year Awards. Nominations must be based on actions or projects which have taken place between July 1, 2017 and June 30, 2018.
