Health science students win state honors
During HOSA-Future Health Professionals 5th Annual Rare Disease Day on Feb. 28 at Nemours Alfred I duPont Hospital for Children in North Wilmington, students raised awareness of rare pediatric diseases. Their academic posters and presentations were judged by a group of distinguished judges from Nemours.
Business students take home state honors

Nine districts win subgrants for programs supporting homeless students
The Delaware Department of Education has awarded more than $184,000 to nine districts in McKinney-Vento Homeless Assistance Act Education for Homeless Children and Youth subgrants. The subgrants, funded by a federal grant administered by the state, are renewable for up to three years.
