DNREC to hold Aug. 29 public hearing in Dover on proposed regulations for evaluating state’s energy efficiency programs

DOVER (Aug. 4, 2016) – DNREC’s Division of Energy & Climate will hold a public hearing this month on newly proposed regulations for the evaluation, measurement and verification of energy efficiency programs recommended by Delaware’s Energy Efficiency Advisory Council.




DNREC takes action to thwart ‘upwind states’ from transporting air pollution into Delaware, which brings with it a wide range of public health problems

DOVER – On behalf of Delawareans and public health, DNREC has taken two recent actions through the federal court system and US Environmental Protection Agency aimed at requiring “upwind states” to reduce air pollution generated within their borders that carries into and pollutes Delaware’s air, causing asthma, respiratory disease, and other public health problems for Delawareans.




DNREC Division of Energy & Climate announces public workshops June 22 and 23 about relaunch of state’s Energy Efficiency Investment Fund

DNREC’s Division of Energy & Climate has announced public workshops focused on the relaunch of the Energy Efficiency Investment Fund (EEIF) grant program, which supports eligible energy efficiency projects in the commercial, industrial and non-profit sectors.




DNREC, UD partner to create database of funding opportunities to support resilient communities

Local governments and communities now have a resource to help them identify potential funding to help them adapt to or combat threats of severe weather events and enhance resiliency against climate change and sea level rise.




Registration still open for DNREC Division of Energy & Climate’s ‘Fueling the Future’ ride-and-drive clean transportation conference May 24 in Dover

DNREC’s Division of Energy & Climate invites fleet managers, businesses, public organizations and transportation professionals to attend Fueling the Future: Clean Transportation for a Greener Delaware, presented in conjunction with the Delaware Clean Cities Coalition from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 24, at Dover Downs Hotel and Casino, in Dover.
