DNREC Division of Parks & Recreation to hold four open houses on developing new Master Plan for White Clay Creek State Park

DNREC Secretary Shawn M. Garvin will host a public meeting at 7 p.m., Monday, May 21 to announce that the Division of Parks & Recreation is beginning the process of creating a master plan for the future of White Clay Creek State Park in Newark, and will be holding four open houses this summer to gather public input for the plan. The meeting will be held at Deerfield, 507 Thompson Station Road, Newark, DE 19711.




DNREC to hold workshops Nov. 29 and 30 seeking public input on Coastal Zone Conversion Permit Act regulatory development process

DNREC will hold two public workshops seeking input as it begins the process for developing regulations for the Coastal Zone Conversion Permit Act, which requires the Department to develop and promulgate regulations for the redevelopment of 14 heavy-industrial use sites in Delaware’s Coastal Zone by Oct. 1, 2019.

The Mid-Atlantic Regional Planning Body (MidA RPB) invites the public to provide input on the Draft Mid-Atlantic Regional Ocean Planning Framework by participating in a listening session.
Delaware’s representatives to the MidA RPB will host a public listening session from 5:00 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 27 at DNREC’s Shoreline and Waterway Services Facility, 901 Pilottown Road, Lewes, DE 19958
