The Division of Parks & Rec and the Delaware Zoological Society have announced new animal species, and new and updated exhibits at the Brandywine Zoo.
Brandywine Zoo assisted Pa. law enforcement by taking into the zoo’s care a juvenile American alligator that was found inside a Coatesville, Pa. home.
DNREC’s Brandywine Zoo temporarily closed through February for construction and improvement projects
DNREC’s Division of Parks & Recreation announced today that the Brandywine Zoo in Wilmington is temporarily closed through the end of February while construction and improvement projects are made to the zoo’s campus.
Brandywine Zoo has made a red panda transfer and introduced two new pandas to the public. The zoo’s new residents are Sherman, a five-year-old male from the Smithsonian Conservation Biology institute in Virginia, and a four-year-old female, named Mohu, from the Blank Park Zoo in Iowa.
