An Appoquinimink School District polling place may not be used due to a conflict

Department of Elections - New Castle County Office | Department of Elections - State Election Commissioner | News | School Board Elections | Date Posted: Thursday, March 13, 2014

A School Board Election and AP testing are scheduled for Marion Profitt Training Center on May 13th. This conflict will create safety issues. The Appoquinimink School District has asked us not use the Center as a polling place on that day. People can vote at seven other places. This includes nearby Old State Elementary School.
The Board of Elections will consider the request at its April 1st meeting. Email your comments to us.
