Newark Man Gets 30 Year Prison Sentence

Delaware Department of Justice Deputy Attorneys General Jason Cohee and Nicole Hartman secured a 30 year prison sentence against 23 year old Juan Restrepo-Duque on Thursday, January 15, 2015. Mr. Restrepo-Duque was found guilty in December in the 2010 killing 61 year old Kenton W. “Wes” Wolf of Smyrna.

 

The two men met after connecting on a dating website, with Mr. Restrepo-Duque visiting Wolf’s home on two occasions.  In February 2010, Mr. Restrepo-Duque stabbed the victim 18 times and shot him with a BB gun 7 times.  A jury convicted Restrepo-Duque of second degree murder, possession of a deadly weapon during the commission of a felony, theft of a motor vehicle, and carrying a concealed deadly instrument.
