Today, Michael Botticelli, Acting Director of the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy (ONDCP), announced the designation of New Castle County, Delaware as a High Intensity Drug Trafficking Area (HIDTA).




Department of Justice creates new Office of Civil Rights and Public Trust

Attorney General Matt Denn announced today that the Department of Justice would be restructured to create a new Office of Civil Rights and Public Trust. The office will be responsible for protecting individual rights and liberties of Delawareans, enforcement of laws designed to ensure citizen trust in government, and conducting investigations where the Department of Justice’s other responsibilities might present the appearance of a conflict of interest.




Offender fails to return from authorized pass issued by work release center

The Delaware Department of Correction announces that offender Kennyuan Baldwin failed to return from an authorized job seeking pass issued yesterday, January 6, by the Morris Community Corrections Center in Dover. Ongoing attempts to make contact have been unsuccessful and at this time the offender’s whereabouts are unknown.
