DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife to temporarily close Garrisons Lake north parking area for repaving

DOVER – DNREC’s Division of Fish & Wildlife will temporarily close the north parking area at Garrisons Lake Thursday, June 21 for repaving. Weather permitting, the work should be completed and the parking area reopened by Friday, June 29.The logo for the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control

The north parking area project will include a 2-inch overlay of the entire parking area and the lane leading to the parking area. To minimize the impact to the fishing public, the Garrisons Lake south parking area will remain open during this time. Boating access, which is from the south parking lot, is unaffected by the construction.
