Salty Beaches, driven by Allan Davis, won in 1:57 Tuesday, Sept. 29, at Harrington Raceway

HARRINGTON – Delaware Standardbred Breeders’ Fund (DSBF) 2-year-old stakes action continued at Harrington Raceway Tuesday, Sept. 29, with three $20,000 divisions for pacing fillies.

All three divisions featured short fields as Nanticoke Racing, Henry Faragalli III and Chad Tate’s Land Of The Free ($2.10, Brandon Givens) won the initial split with ease in 1:58.2 over Moms Watchin and Wonderful Tonight. The Badlands Hanover filly set the pace from her rail post position and notched her third career win for trainer Les Givens.

Legacy Racing of Delaware’s Cruising Mist ($9.40, Allan Davis) won the second split in 1:57.1 for trainer Wayne Givens. The Powerful Mist filly led throughout in her first career win over Miss Mam and Jobs Not Finished. Davis drove another DSBF winner in the final division, Tyler Davis’ Salty Beaches ($2.60) in 1:57 over Rynesha and Unberdnbywhathsben. The Badlands Hanover filly recorded her second straight win for her breeder/owner/trainer.

DSBF trotters will highlight the Wednesday, Sept. 30 program with five divisions.

Live racing will continue on a Monday through Wednesday schedule (post time 4:30 p.m.) through Wednesday, Oct. 21.
